Parks Project
Our goal is to address littering in the parks of Logan Heights, by encouraging environmental awareness and responsibility in local youth. In collaboration with the CDC and Logan Heights Library, we’ve developed a set of educational materials to be distributed and used modularly in classrooms across the community. These materials will be used in a pilot workshop at the Library on April 7th, 2023.
Workshop Presentation
The parks group collaborated with the community to host a littering workshop aimed at enhancing the community's aesthetic appeal and implementing effective Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) principles such as cleanliness. The goal was to maintain cleanliness, thereby fostering a safer and more comfortable environment for all residents.
