PROYECTOS 2023-2024
Alleys Group Project
Exploring alleyway usage in Logan Heights, the Alleys Group identified safety concerns and implemented a Lighting Pilot Plan to address community needs. Through interviews and surveys, the project sought sustainable solutions for better visibility and security.

A pop-up community event in the alley will be held on May 24th, 2025 (final time TBA) to showcase our project, inquire about future alleys' development, and thank the community members for their collaboration.
Policy Report
Group Project
The Policy Report Group Project utilizes the data gathered by survey groups from previous sections of this class to create a policy report on maintaining accessibility in Logan Heights. This report serves to address the lingering issues of street quality and cracked sidewalks along Imperial Avenue, one of the main streets in the Logan Heights neighborhood filled with small businesses and restaurants. The team aims to provide the Logan Heights CDC and the community with a resource that can be referenced for future requests for funding from the city of San Diego.
Arts Group Project
The Arts Group is dedicated to preserving and uplifting the vibrant culture of Logan Heights through collaborative public art. Our latest project showcases the neighborhood’s murals—highlighting their deep historical and cultural roots—while supporting underrepresented local artists and engaging the community in creative storytelling.
